Our aim is to celebrate the diversity, dedication, and drive that is characteristic of our sector, and the eligibility criteria have been thoughtfully designed to ensure broad and inclusive representation.

Individual Awards: These are open to individuals currently employed or contracted in the VET sector within Australia at the time of application. Entrants must have a minimum of one year of experience in the role they are nominated for, except for the Student of the Year and Start-up of the Year categories.

Organisation Awards: Eligibility for these awards is extended to any registered Training Provider, TAFE, Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or other educational institution offering VET courses in Australia.

Specific Award Criteria: Some awards have specific eligibility criteria. For example, the Start-up of the Year category is open to businesses that have been operating for less than three years.

Multiple Entries: Entrants can apply for more than one category, provided they meet the specific eligibility criteria for each category.

Previous Winners: Previous winners are eligible to enter again but cannot apply for the same category they have won in the previous year.
